Job summary

PPR is seeking a SD Support Engineer – Underground (Civils) to work across UK sites, including Milton Keynes. The role focuses on safe underground digging, civils avoidance techniques and duct installation, with training at client facilities and a company vehicle provided.

You will report on work progress, follow safety procedures and collaborate with site teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure services. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground civils or utilities work.
• Valid UK driving licence with clean record.
• Safeguarding health and safety standards in field operations.
• Certification in civils safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform soft digging in verges and use hand tools safely.
• Clear blockages and install short duct lengths as required.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation of work performed.
• Communicate clearly with site teams and supervisors.
