Job summary

MJ Quinn Integrated Services Ltd is hiring Support Engineers to join our Service Delivery team across the UK. This is a field-based, self-employed contractor role focusing on underground pathway clearance, civils avoidance techniques, and soft digging in verges using hand tools.

You will operate Cat & Genny for cable detection and ensure safe, accurate reporting. A valid UK driving licence is required; engagement is under a contract for services, not PAYE employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground utility work or similar field roles.
• Proficiency with Cat & Genny and soft digging techniques.
• Strong civils avoidance and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.

About the Role:

We're hiring Support Engineers to join our Service Delivery team across the UK. This is a field-based role focused on underground pathway clearance, civils avoidance techniques, and soft digging in verges. You'll use hand digging tools, Cat & Genny for cable detection, and carry out blockage clearance and installation of small duct lengths.

You'll play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service across our infrastructure projects.

This role is offered on a self-employed sub-contractor basis and is not a PAYE employment opportunity. Successful applicants will be engaged under a contract for services and must comply with all applicable tax and legal requirements relating to their business activities.
