Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Civils Technician to support projects across the UK, primarily focusing on underground cable installation and maintenance. The role involves collaborating with various contractors and ensuring safety standards are upheld.

The ideal candidate must have good communication skills, a valid UK driving licence, and be willing to travel during weekdays or weekends as required. Experience in electrical substations is desirable.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence is mandatory.
• Desirable experience includes working in electrical substations.
• Current DNO authorisations and safety licenses are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set out and undertake ground works for cable installation.
• Liaise with third parties during operations.
• Drive telehandler and MEWP as required.
• Supervise working parties on site and ensure safety.
• Work under the Project Engineer to adhere to schedule.
