Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance and practical support to under-occupying households looking to move to more suitable accommodation.
• Manage a caseload of residents, undertaking assessments, home visits, risk assessments and support plans.
• Promote housing mobility initiatives, including mutual exchanges and other rehousing schemes.
• Organise and support promotional events, open days and outreach activities.
• Liaise with housing associations, local authorities, landlords, contractors and support agencies to facilitate successful moves.
• Maintain accurate case records, reports and service databases.
• Respond to enquiries from residents, councillors, partner organisations and other stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of housing initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Monitor expenditure associated with the scheme and support project work as required.
• Deliver presentations, briefings and reports to a range of audiences.

Location: Croydon, CR0 1EA, Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote)

Hours: 36 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday

Contract: 3-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

Pay: £18.92 per hour PAYE

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping residents access more suitable housing, making best use of available housing stock, and supporting under-occupying households to move into appropriately sized accommodation.
