Job summary

EHV Structures Limited is seeking a skilled steel erector/fitter/fabricator to join our construction team. The role involves installing, fabricating, and assembling steel and aluminium frameworks across sites in the UK, with travel required.

Competitive salary negotiable by experience with overtime at higher rates and paid travel/living allowances. We provide training where needed and cover additional required courses.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required; IPAF preferred; Plant & Slinger/Signaller tickets advantageous.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Experience with assembly of steel structures or similar projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Assembly and installation of steel/aluminium structures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
• Measure materials accurately using basic maths skills to ensure precise fabrication and installation.
• Working off site layout drawings
• Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes while adhering to safety regulations.
• Assist in the lifting, positioning, and securing of structural components on-site.
• Working away Monday-Friday, Sunday travel may be requested depending on the site location.
