Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is expanding into the UK aerospace and defence sector with a Trade Compliance Senior Manager. The role offers largely remote work with travel across the UK and Europe, including Northampton visits roughly once or twice monthly.

You will shape and embed robust trade compliance processes across defence operations and act as the UK SME for compliance. The salary range is £80,000 to £90,000 per annum, with benefits including a company car or car allowance (£595/month), pension,

Qualifications

• Significant trade compliance experience within aerospace/defence.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR and EAR, UK and US export controls, sanctions.
• Experience managing export licences and Restricted Party Screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement UK trade compliance processes across defence operations.
• Lead compliance activities for ITAR, EAR, export licences and sanctions.
• Create a scalable defence compliance playbook and governance framework.
