Qualifications

• Strong background in quality assurance and assessment practices.
• Minimum of 2 full academic years of teaching in the relevant subject within the last 8 years.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead or support quality assurance activities.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant specifications in your sector.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with qualification specifications and national standards.
• Provide expert guidance tailored to your subject area and verification requirements.
• Attend and complete mandatory training and standardisation activities on time.
• Conduct centre visits for qualifications involving verification, following guidance from the Assessment team.
• Adhere to Pearson quality assurance processes and sampling strategies.
• Review learner work and internal verification records for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure assessment decisions are valid, consistent, and aligned with national standards.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to centres during sampling.
• Produce comprehensive sampling reports and outline corrective actions.
• Maintain regular communication with your Pearson supervisor and internal teams.
