Job summary

Pearson is seeking a UK-based Standards Verifier to uphold national standards in vocational qualifications. You will provide subject-specific guidance, conduct sampling and verification activities, and deliver clear feedback to centres.

This role supports Pearson’s quality assurance framework through training, internal collaboration, and reporting, with both remote and in-person contracts.

Qualifications

• Strong background in quality assurance and assessment practices.
• Experience with Pearson assessment, quality and processes, and national standards within recent years.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to deliver and coordinate training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance tailored to your subject area and verification requirements.
• Attend and complete mandatory training and standardisation activities on time.
• Conduct centre visits for verification and sampling following guidance from the Assessment team.
• Adhere to Pearson quality assurance processes and sampling strategies for allocated qualifications.
• Review learner work and internal verification records for accuracy and compliance.
• Produce comprehensive sampling reports and clearly communicate required corrective actions.
