Job summary

e-STORAGE, part of the Canadian Solar Inc. family, is seeking a Senior Power Systems Technician to lead product commissioning across UK LTSA sites and manage HV/MV safety activities.

The role requires a time-served electrical background with utility-scale BESS or solar commissioning experience. You will own first power-on parameters, oversee documentation, and provide product-level sign-off during energisation, while coordinating with EPC and third-party contractors.

Qualifications

• This role requires time-served electrical experience in utility-scale BESS or solar commissioning.
• Experience with HV/MV switching and compliance testing is essential.
• Knowledge of G99 requirements and site Cx support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead product commissioning of e-STORAGE products across UK LTSA sites to OEM standard.
• Own first power-on parameters and maintain product-level documentation.
• Provide product-level technical sign-off and support during energisation.
• Lead HV/MV safety, isolations, earthing, and regulatory tasks on site.
• Supervise interfaces with third-party contractors and ensure safety compliance.
