Job summary

e-Storage is seeking a Senior Power Systems Technician to act as the regional senior technical specialist for power systems and product commissioning across the UK BESS fleet. You will lead commissioning of e-STORAGE products to OEM standards and oversee HV/MV maintenance and safety across regions, developing the service team's competency.

You will coordinate energisation programmes, grid-compliance, and G99 testing, ensuring documentation packs and sign-offs meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Time-served electrical background with utility-scale BESS or solar commissioning experience.
• Familiarity with G99 requirements to support compliance testing.
• MV/HV activities up to 33kV and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead product commissioning of e-STORAGE products across UK LTSA sites to OEM standard.
• Provide HV/MV protection and isolation expertise.
• Support site Cx team during energisation and testing.
• Carry out HV/MV switching during service phases and outages.
• Lead safety oversight for HV/MV activities and supervise third-party contractors.
