Job summary

A leading solar technology firm in the UK is seeking a Snr Commissioning Technician to join their commissioning team. The main responsibilities include supporting the commissioning engineer in executing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, performing inspections, and ensuring safety protocols. Candidates should have a minimum NVQ/SVQ level 3 in electrical discipline and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities. This position involves extensive domestic travel and occasional international support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in commissioning.
• Comfortable working in a team or alone with strong problem-solving skills.
• Candidate must possess a valid driving license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Execute BESS projects from mechanical completion to commercial operation.
• Perform visual inspections and electrical fault finding.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure safety compliance.
