Job summary

BELECTRIC Solar Ltd. in the United Kingdom seeks a Commissioning Supervisor to lead the commissioning of solar PV and battery energy storage projects. You will supervise testing, energisation and handover, coordinating teams and ensuring safe, compliant delivery across multiple sites.

The role requires deep experience with HV/LV systems, BESS, earthing, and electrical schematics, plus strong liaison with DNOs and clients. Belectric UK offers a dynamic and growth‑driven environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in HV switchgear, transformer and related plant commissioning.
Experience with LV transformer stations and distribution systems.
Experience commissioning Battery Energy Storage Systems (AC/DC and DC/DC).
Solid knowledge of earthing, EPR assessments and UK grid standards.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of commissioning activities across PV and BESS projects from pre-energisation to handover.
Coordinate commissioning teams, subcontractors and stakeholders while managing risks and documentation.
Oversee HV, LV and BESS testing, energisation, protection settings and compliance with standards.
Act as primary interface with DNOs, clients, and equipment manufacturers during witness testing and approvals.
