Job summary

Lucid Group is seeking a People Advisor to support the UK business with generalist HR guidance, policies and employment terms. This fixed-term maternity cover starts October 2026 and ends March 2027, and offers hybrid working across London, Manchester and Macclesfield.

You will coach managers, manage employee relations casework, assist payroll/HRIS updates, and help deliver mid-year and year-end processes, salary reviews and benefits administration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading UK employee relations cases including redundancies and performance issues.
• Advising managers on generalist policies and procedures across the full employment life cycle.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and its best practice application.
• Ability to coach managers on a range of people management approaches.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a diverse client group.
• Ability to research, analyse and present proposals for policy and process management.
• Experience in working effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to identify development needs.
• Desirable CIPD qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with people managers and be the key contact on people matters.
• Provide coaching for leaders on performance, talent development, and absence management.
• Lead on individual case management within policy and legal frameworks.
• Maintain ER case tracker, coordinate reviews and provide risk insights.
• Draft and update policies as directed by Head of People Partnering.
• Support high-risk ER cases, including redundancies.
• Coordinate HRIS updates and payroll process accuracy.
• Support mid-year, year-end reviews and salary/promotions cycles.
• Assist with benefits processes and engagement surveys.
