Job summary

Xelix is seeking a People Advisor on a maternity cover contract to support our growing People function across the UK and internationally. You’ll work closely with the People Partner and leadership team, acting as a first point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring a smooth employee experience throughout the lifecycle.

The role covers onboarding, offboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration and HR records, plus learning initiatives and performance processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a People Advisor, HR Administrator, or People Operations role in a scale‑up or fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage employee queries independently and deliver processes
• Strong organisational skills and multi‑tasking ability
• Excellent communication with a people‑first approach
• Comfortable using HR systems and digital tools
• Capable of working effectively in a fixed‑term/contract role

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and provide timely guidance
• Support managers with day-to-day people matters and escalate when needed
• Maintain a positive, inclusive employee experience across lifecycle
• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation in HRIS
• Support payroll inputs and benefits administration
• Assist with learning & development initiatives and performance cycles
• Collaborate with managers to support engagement and culture
• Contribute to continual improvement of people processes
