Job summary

Puig in London is seeking an HR Advisor on a 12-month maternity contract to deliver a high-quality generalist HR service for the UK team. The role is hybrid, three days in the London HQ and two days home, working with managers to implement people plans and enhance the people experience for Puig UK.

You’ll manage employee relations, support payroll onboarding, contribute to recruitment assistance, and design HR training for managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR generalist role within consumer/beauty industry preferred.
• Excellent HR processes, systems and practice knowledge with employee relations advisory.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fluid environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ER advice across absence management, dispute resolution, performance management, disciplinary, maternity/paternity leave, and flexible working.
• Fully manage ER cases with Senior HRBP support.
• Coordinate meetings and generate letters and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure consistency of process delivery and team member experience.
• Maintain ER trackers for GDPR-compliant audit trails.
• Design and deliver HR fundamentals training for line managers.
• Manage HR inbox and respond to queries promptly.
• Track probation periods and address underperformance.
• Maintain e-files; keep documentation up-to-date and GDPR compliant.
• Support People Services on monthly payroll, pay and benefits, onboarding and leaver processes.
• Assist Talent Acquisition with shortlisting and interviews; participate in careers fairs and assessment centres.
• Conduct exit interviews and capture trends to reduce turnover and boost engagement.
• Maintain HR Hub intranet content and reflect policy/process changes.
• Participate in wellbeing initiatives and ad-hoc HR projects.
• Spend time in the field visiting stores to build relationships with retail teams.
