Job summary

Consulo Global in the UK North market seeks an ambitious Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer to grow business across the M62 corridor. You will manage OEMs, machine builders and industrial end users, promoting cable management, energy chains and motion control solutions.

You will work with design and maintenance teams to tailor engineered solutions and drive orders. The role reports to the UK Sales Manager and requires a commercially driven sales professional capable of building

Qualifications

• Proven experience in external technical sales within industrial engineering.
• Experience selling to OEMs, machine builders or industrial end users.
• Commercially proactive approach with ability to identify opportunities and build relationships.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand applications and propose engineered solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Northeast and Northwest England.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across UK North.
• Manage, retain and grow existing OEM, machine builder and industrial end-user accounts.
• Promote engineered solutions across cable management, automation and power transmission.
• Develop relationships with design, electrical, mechanical engineers and procurement colleagues.
• Conduct customer site visits, technical consultations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations; negotiate contracts and convert enquiries.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM records; achieve revenue targets.
