We are seeking a UK & Ireland Service Operations Director to join our team in Golborne, Great Britain. The role involves managing the 24/7/365 UK & Ireland Service operation to meet customer requirements and company standards, overseeing all aspects of service operations, leveraging technical understanding of Critical Power infrastructure, and building strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

What will you be doing?

Service Performance & Delivery

• Manage customer expectations and ensure excellent service delivery.
• Analyze service trends and implement improvements.
• Manage client asset servicing and anticipate future needs.
• Provide technical guidance and evaluate equipment requirements.
• Oversee sales budgets and resource management.

QHSE

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Vet and approve suppliers and contractors.
• Implement safe working practices and conduct safety inspections.

Human Resources

• Assess training needs and maintain a Competency Matrix.
• Set targets, conduct appraisals, and promote staff involvement.
• Ensure employee wellbeing and manage resources.

Reporting

• Deliver KPIs on sales, profit, engineering productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Future Objectives

• Develop a 3-year plan for the service operation, including training and succession strategies.

What will make you successful?

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Electrical/Electronic support industry.
• HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Degree level education preferred.
• Strong financial, IT, and customer management skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership ability to inspire teams.
