Blackhawk Network (BHN) invites applications for a Demand Planner role based in the UK & Ireland. You will lead demand forecasting and inventory planning for UK and Ireland across Retail and Incentive channels, balancing availability with risk of obsolescence.

The role collaborates with Commercial, Operations and EMEA Supply Chain teams to incorporate promos and partner requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong data analytics, expert Excel skills and experience building forecasting

Qualifications

• Strong data analytics skills to interrogate large datasets and translate findings into recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and challenge demand forecasts and inventory plans for the UK and Ireland across Retail and Incentive channels, covering physical and eGift products.
• Analyze historical sales, stock levels, sales rates, seasonality, promotional activity and partner changes to identify demand patterns and future stock requirements.
• Build, maintain and improve Excel-based forecasting models, planning matrices and reporting tools, ensuring calculations are accurate, assumptions are clear and outputs reliable.
• Extract, combine, clean and reconcile data from multiple sources, investigating discrepancies and protecting data integrity.
• Translate analysis into clear stock recommendations, considering supplier lead times, existing inventory, outstanding orders, planned launches and changes in demand.
• Review forecasts vs actuals, investigate variances and use findings to improve accuracy.
• Identify out-of-stock, excess-stock and obsolescence risks early and propose actions to reduce impact.
• Collaborate with Card Partner, Distribution Partner and Sales to validate forecasts and incorporate promotions and seasonal peaks.
• Coordinate with Product Implementation to confirm in-warehouse dates and monitor inbound stock.
• Produce clear, timely reports on demand, inventory coverage, forecast accuracy and exceptions for stakeholders.
• Support supply planning across B2B and B2C fulfilment and logistics providers.
• Improve planning processes through standardisation and automation where possible.
• Share good practice with EMEA colleagues.
