Job summary

Blackhawk Network is seeking a Demand Planner to focus on the UK and Ireland, developing accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans. The role requires advanced Excel skills, data analysis and collaboration with commercial, operational and EMEA teams.

You will build forecasting models, manage data from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable stock recommendations to balance availability with excess risk. Experience in planning tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong data analytics capability with large datasets.
• Advanced Excel with PivotTables, lookups and data validation.
• Experience building forecasting models and planning tools.
• Ability to turn data into actionable stock recommendations.
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and challenge demand forecasts and inventory plans for UK & Ireland across channels.
• Analyse historical sales, stock, seasonality and promotions to identify patterns.
• Build and improve Excel-based forecasting models and reporting tools.
• Extract and reconcile data from multiple sources while ensuring data integrity.
• Translate analysis into stock recommendations considering lead times and launches.
• Review performance against forecasts and improve accuracy over time.
• Identify risks like out-of-stock or obsolescence and propose actions.
• Collaborate with Card Partner, Distribution Partner and Sales to align forecasts.
• Confirm in-warehouse dates and monitor inbound stock and delivery risks.
• Produce timely reports on demand, inventory coverage and exceptions.
• Support supply planning across fulfilment and logistics providers.
• Improve planning processes through standardisation and automation.
