Job summary

3E is hiring an experienced HR Manager based in Lancaster to lead UK HR operations during a significant integration and beyond. You will partner with leaders to support people through change, ensure compliance with UK employment law, and strengthen HR processes and data integrity.

You will work closely with the global HR organization to align policies, improve processes, and deliver high-quality HR support to managers and employees across the region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience including 2–3 years at manager level.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and practical guidance for teams.
• Hands-on employee relations experience with sensitive matters.
• Ability to manage complex HR processes with accuracy and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear communication with leaders.
• Experience in a global, matrixed environment and cross-functional collaboration.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR advisor on employee relations, performance, absence, grievances, and investigations.
• Navigate organizational changes, integration activities, and new HR processes.
• Manage complex employee relations matters with judgment and policy alignment.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, changes, leave, benefits, and records.
• Partner on payroll legislation, compliance, and liaison with Finance and HR teams.
• Manage regional HR and benefits vendors and ensure HR support quality.
• Maintain HR policies, SOPs, and documentation in line with laws.
• Monitor employment legislation changes and ensure compliant HR practices.
• Maintain HRIS data and provide reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with Legal, Talent Acquisition, and leadership on HR initiatives.
