Job summary

ZEAL Network is seeking an experienced HR/People & Culture Generalist to lead HR operations across three UK locations from Norwich, with regular in-office presence and occasional travel to London, Manchester, and Hamburg.

You will unify HRIS, run payroll, develop local HR processes, advise managers, and support employee relations while aligning with group standards. Strong English communication and hands-on mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as an HR/People & Culture Generalist in the UK.
• Solid knowledge of UK payroll and employment law.
• Experience building HR structures in growing or integrated organisations.
• Hands-on experience implementing or unifying HRIS systems.
• Strong communication and advisory skills with managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Unify and administer HRIS across three locations.
• Independently run payroll for all three UK entities.
• Build and own administrative HR processes (contracts, onboarding, off-boarding, employee files, compliance) and policies from scratch, tailored to local needs and aligned with group standards.
• Roll out and advise people managers and employees on performance management, individual cases, and all People & Culture topics.
• Mediate and provide supervision in interpersonal or employment-related conflict situations.
• Brief and coach people managers on leadership topics and HR processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for all employee belonging topics and processes.
• Work hands-on day to day, with regular presence across all three sites and the Hamburg headquarters.
