Job summary

3E is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead UK HR operations during integration and beyond, working with the global HR team to strengthen people practices across the region.

The role requires a regular Lancaster office presence (at least three days per week) and deep knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations, and payroll-related compliance. You will shape processes, policies, and reporting to support growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2-3 years at manager level.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices.
• Hands-on employee relations experience with complex matters.
• Experience managing complex HR processes with accuracy and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with managers.
• Comfortable in a global, matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work from Lancaster office at least 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR advisor on employee relations, performance, absence, grievances, disciplinary matters, and investigations.
• Navigate organizational changes including integration activities, new HR processes, communications, and culture initiatives.
• Manage complex employee relations matters with judgment and alignment to UK law and policies.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, changes, leave, benefits, and records.
• Partner with Finance, regional HR, and payroll providers on payroll and compliance.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor legislation changes to keep HR practices compliant.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and generate reports.
• Collaborate with Legal, Talent Acquisition, and local leadership on initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and workflows.
• Create and maintain SOPs for consistency.
• Contribute to regional and global HR projects.
