Job summary

Descrial in London is hiring its first UK HR Manager to build the people function from the ground up for the King\'s Cross team. You\'ll run UK payroll, onboarding and contracts, coordinating with TresVista\'s HR team in India to keep practices compliant and simple.

This in-office role (3–5 days/week) will help scale the UK operation as the team grows from a handful to dozens, with a fast-paced, founder-driven culture and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in an HR Manager or HR advisor role in the UK.
• Main HR contact for a UK team.
• Knowledge of UK employment law, contracts, payroll, pensions and ER.
• Discreet, organised and service-minded, calm under pressure.
• No specific degree required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate London hiring with managers and recruitment partners, schedule interviews, references and right-to-work checks.
• Prepare UK contracts and onboarding plans for new joiners from day one.
• Run UK payroll inputs, pension auto-enrolment, benefits, absence and records, GDPR-compliant policies.
• Support managers with probation, performance reviews and development conversations.
• Be the first UK HR contact, aligning with Bengaluru and India teams.
