Job summary

Tsuga, Inc. is hiring a Sales Engineer to join a cross‑regional team of five FDEs and two Product Managers, spanning Europe, the USA and LATAM, reporting to Nils, Head of Product. This hybrid role blends technical deep-dives with client-facing duties to win new business.

You will build strong relationships with Sales, conduct discovery, demos and POCs, and translate observability challenges into Tsuga solutions. You’ll present hands‑on demonstrations on logging, metrics, tracing and alerting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, DevOps, SRE or similar role in SaaS or observability-focused environment.
• Native English speaking (mandatory for the job).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, microservices and monitoring/telemetry tools.
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create strong relationships with Account Executives to drive the pre-sales process: discovery, demos, solution design, POCs and support.
• Our pricing model is based on the volume of data we need to process. During the POC phase, help the Sales team size the deals of our prospects.
• Translate complex observability challenges into compelling technical solutions using Tsuga.
• Deliver engaging, hands-on demonstrations that address customer pain points around logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Provide technical guidance on integrations with OpenTelemetry (OTel), cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Serve as a bridge between customer needs and the product team. Be reactive and address small issues to fix them during the POC phase.
• Respond to RFPs, and support technical evaluations and procurement processes.
