Job summary

Rowden in Bristol is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our Engineering team. The role involves spending substantial time at customer sites, developing firsthand understanding of their challenges and translating them into deployed technical capability.

You will own the technical success of deployments from discovery through integration, deployment, testing and operational use, working hands-on with Dovetail products and technologies while collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Solid programming experience across Python/JS/Go/Java.
• Strong Linux, networking and API fundamentals.
• Experience deploying software across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take hands-on ownership of deploying Dovetail products into customer environments.
• Spend significant time at customer sites, especially during discovery, trials, integration and deployment.
• Configure, integrate, deploy, test and troubleshoot products across cloud, on-premise and edge environments.
• Diagnose issues across the full stack and coordinate with engineering teams as needed.
• Act as technical liaison between customers and product/engineering teams.
