Job summary

ICE is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK with a field-based role. You will diagnose, service and repair industrial cleaning equipment, including vacuums, pressure washers, scrubbers and sweepers, ensuring SLA targets are met.

You will visit customer sites, perform planned maintenance and PA tests, and provide detailed reports using SERVICESMARTPro. A full UK driving licence and strong mechanical/electrical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant certifications or training in industrial equipment repair is advantageous.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair industrial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to interpret manuals and schematics to troubleshoot equipment and implement repair solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and knowledgeable customer support.
• Attend and complete repairs within the contracted service level agreement.
• Attend follow up calls to complete repairs when parts have been ordered.
• Attend and complete all scheduled planned maintenance services.
• Attend and complete all scheduled PA Test calls on time.
• Maintain and uphold high standards of service and repair.
• Follow all health and safety rules and procedures.
• Update all jobs in SERVICESMARTPro (SSP) with accurate data.
• Provide accurate reports after each site visit to maintain asset data integrity.
• Order parts via the system to complete breakdown calls.
• Manage van stock and re-ordering levels.
• Help develop more efficient systems of work and implement changes.
• Keep vehicle in good condition and tidy.
• Attend company service and business review meetings.
