Job summary

Barrus is seeking a dynamic Field Sales Manager to lead our national team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Agents across the UK. This field-based role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on coaching to grow revenue and margins.

Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, you will shape sales strategy, drive performance, and build strong relationships with key retailers and partners. A proven track record in field sales leadership and travel throughout the UK is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a national team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Agents.
• Deliver sales, margin and profitability targets across the Outdoor Division.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
• Drive new business opportunities and maximise growth within existing accounts.
• Support product launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
• Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Services, Supply Chain and Operations to maximise opportunities.
• Foster a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture.
