Job summary

EC-Council, the world’s leading cybersecurity certification body, seeks a content leader to drive UK content operations from London. This editorial role shapes strategy, oversees events, reports, and thought leadership, and strengthens the brand voice across cyber, AI, and emerging tech risks.

You will own the content plan, partner with CEO, marketing and design teams, and elevate engagement within the London market and beyond. Significant autonomy from day one is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in editorial, content & community.
• Strong editorial/journalistic background, ideally in/near insurance market.
• Existing network in London insurance market and sense of its dynamics.
• Nose for emerging, underreported stories and trends.
• Self-starter: independent, organized and trustworthy.
• Comfortable using AI tools for content work.

Responsibilities

• Own content strategy and editorial calendar for 6–12 months.
• Evolve editorial direction as cyber expands into AI and tech risk.
• Final say on content, collaborating with CEO and teams.
• Plan and run webinars, masterclasses, panels with educational focus.
• Source speakers, build lasting relationships regionally and beyond.
• Commission and produce exclusive interviews and reports.
• Launch and edit an online magazine on technology risk.
