Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Head of UK Analytical Content Development to shape and deliver the UK portfolio strategy. • Legal qualification required (LLB/LLM or equivalent).
• Experience leading a content development function, preferably in editorial, publishing, or content management.
• Extensive people management experience, leading teams through change.
• Experience owning author, licensor, or expert relationships.
• Experience cross-collaborating across global regions and functions.
• Experience partnering with commercial, product, or go-to-market stakeholders.
• Experience with agentic AI and content-technology adoption.
• Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Shape the UK Analytical content development strategy and deliver the departmental plan.
• Grow the portfolio while maintaining content quality, currency, and cost management.
• Lead and develop the content development team through coaching and performance management.
• Oversee author, licensor, and expert relationships in partnership with Commercial stakeholders.
• Translate market needs into portfolio priorities, commissioning plans, and go-to-market plans.
• Develop metrics and analytics for content quality, currency, and author pipeline health.
• Lead the adoption and scaling of AI-enabled content capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Coordinate with acquisitions and align global content initiatives.
