Job summary

Röhlig Logistics in the UK Heathrow region seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our air freight customer base. You will identify and secure new opportunities, build strong relationships with customers and internal teams, and lead the full sales cycle from first contact to rate negotiation and onboarding.

The role requires a self-motivated, commercially focused individual with proven freight forwarding sales experience and air freight knowledge.

Qualifications

Freight forwarding sales experience with strong air freight knowledge.
Self-motivated, commercially focused and results-driven.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills across teams.
Good commercial awareness of margins and service quality.

Responsibilities

Generate and manage new business opportunities across the UK, focusing on air freight.
Build relationships with customers, prospects and internal stakeholders for effective solutions.
Manage the full sales process from identifying opportunities to rate negotiation and onboarding support.
