Job summary

Catchfish in Leeds is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer on a contract basis to lead the design of applications affecting communities across the UK. You will ensure usability and accessibility, acting as the most senior UI/UX designer on the team and guiding multidisciplinary groups to deliver expert solutions.

A portfolio is required, with strong workshop leadership and the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• You must have a portfolio attached to your application to be considered.
• Experience leading workshops.
• Demonstrable experience explaining design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Planning user research, conducting research, and analysing the research.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with software engineers and other technical employees.

We are offering a UI/UX Designer contract role based in Leeds at a rate of 495 per day inside IR35. The contract is for 6 months with a possibility to extend.
