Job summary

Amazon in London is seeking an experienced UX Designer to drive end-to-end design across multiple projects. You will translate complex requirements into intuitive flows, wireframes, and prototypes, collaborating with product, engineering, and data science teams.

The role requires 3+ years of design experience, a strong online portfolio, and proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud. You will advocate usability best practices, conduct user research, and help shape a scalable design system.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or samples demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design.

• Experience delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer.

Responsibilities

• We own end-to-end design delivery for multiple concurrent projects, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready specifications.
• We facilitate regular design consultation sessions and provide expert feedback to product teams on in-progress and pre-launch work.
• We conduct design quality assurance on shipped features and identify discrepancies between design intent and implementation.
• We build and maintain a domain-specific pattern library that extends our corporate design system with reusable components.
• We run regular design office hours and offer guidance and early directional feedback to teams that need it.
• We conduct user research, including shadows, interviews, and usability tests, to validate decisions and surface unmet needs.
• We contribute to cross-team experience strategy, information architecture, and the long-term vision for a unified product suite.
• We collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate complex business requirements into clear, intuitive experiences.
