Job summary

Excellis Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CAD Designer specialising in underfloor heating to join their Dartford, Kent team. You will produce LoopCAD designs, create 2D CAD drawings, and develop pipe layouts, loops and zoning for UFH projects. Collaboration with customers, engineers and internal teams is essential.

The role requires proven UFH design experience, LoopCAD proficiency, and familiarity with heating/PLM/ME sectors. Monday–Friday, permanent full-time with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing underfloor heating systems.
• Hands-on experience using LoopCAD - essential.
• Strong understanding of UFH systems, pipe layouts, loops, manifolds and zoning.
• Experience in heating, plumbing, M&E or construction CAD/design.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed underfloor heating designs using LoopCAD.
• Create accurate 2D CAD drawings and technical layouts for UFH projects.
• Design pipe layouts, heating loops, manifold positions and zoning.
• Interpret architectural and construction drawings for UFH designs.
• Review project requirements and ensure designs meet specifications.
• Amend and update drawings based on customer or project needs.
• Collaborate with sales, technical and installation teams.
• Provide technical support and advice relating to UFH layouts.
