Job summary

Polypipe Building Products, part of the Genuit Group, seeks a Technical Estimator to design, quote, and support UFH and drainage projects. You will interpret architectural drawings, produce layouts, and ensure compliance with Future Homes Standard along with Polypipe guidelines.

The role combines technical input with commercial awareness to drive project outcomes. Ideal candidates will have experience in technical estimating, knowledge of UFH systems, CAD skills, and a customer-focused approach

Qualifications

• Experience in a Technical Estimating design role.
• Familiar with low-temperature heating systems.
• BPEC accreditation or progression towards it.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and plans to produce accurate take-offs.
• Create UFH pipe layouts and drainage material schedules.
• Ensure designs meet Future Homes Standard and Polypipe guidelines.
• Provide pre-quotation technical advice to stakeholders.
• Support sales with technical solutions for complex projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Polypipe UFH and drainage products.
