Job summary

Polypipe Building Products is seeking a Technical Estimator to design and quote UFH and drainage solutions. You will translate architectural drawings into accurate take-offs, layouts, and schedules, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.

The role provides technical support across homeowners, installers, merchants, and national housebuilders, contributing to project wins and profitable growth within a busy, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical estimating/design role.
• Trained in Low-Temperature Heating.
• BPEC accreditation (or working towards).
• CAD reading and interpretation of drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings to produce accurate take-offs.
• Create UFH layouts and drainage schedules.
• Ensure designs meet Future Homes Standard.
• Provide pre-quotation technical support to customers.
• Maintain project history and quotation records in CRM.
• Support Technical Sales with technical input.
