Job summary

Windracers is seeking a hands-on MMRO Lead to plan, supervise and execute ground tests, maintenance, and modifications of Windracer ULTRA UAVs at Llanbedr Airfield. You will manage spares, ground equipment, and fleet support vehicles, liaise with local airfield management, and guide technicians from Windracers.

Ideal candidates have proven leadership of vehicle or aircraft maintenance teams, strong fault diagnosis skills, and the ability to work across engineering and operations while ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising vehicle technicians.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical or electrical faults in vehicles.
• Willingness to operate from remote locations (UK/overseas).
• Able to manage engineering drawings or modification packs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience reading MCAD/ECAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead ground tests, maintenance, and modifications.
• Coordinate spares, equipment, and on-site logistics.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across MMRO operations.
• Mentor MMRO team and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with flight operations and engineering teams to align priorities.
