Job summary

Matchtech seeks an experienced UAV Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, modification and testing of UAV fleet. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and operational readiness, with emphasis on safety, quality and compliance.

You will perform ground testing, work with Engineering and R&D teams, and maintain electronic records of all activities. The position requires a full, clean driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as a vehicle technician in aviation/automotive/rail/marine sectors.
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills (mechanical/electrical/electronic).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Good organisational, communication and team skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned fleet maintenance and scheduled activities.
• Diagnose, plan and complete unscheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Support flight operations and ground handling tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, modifications and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety and quality procedures.
