Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a dedicated MRO Senior Technician (Global Deployment) for an aerospace client to maintain Windracers UAVs to the highest standard. The role involves 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off, with global travel to diverse environments including conflict zones.

You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate with engineering and ground crews, and ensure safety and compliance in all operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a vehicle technician with a mechanical or electrical focus.
• Aircraft/UAV maintenance and fault diagnosis skills are essential.
• Experience supervising trades or teams is preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Embodiment of planned fleet modifications and maintenance.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and diagnose unscheduled issues.
• Collaborate with engineering/R&D on mods.
• Conduct ground testing for QA and fault diagnosis.
• Record and report issues, data, and activities accurately.
• Support ground handling, refuelling, and flight operations.
• Ensure compliance with airspace regs and safety protocols.
• Stay current with aviation regulations and permits.
