Job summary

Matchtech in London is seeking a Head of UAV Integration to lead industrialisation and final integration of unmanned aerial platforms for defence and security. You will own end-to-end integration from components to production release, coordinating across European sites.

The role requires strong multidisciplinary engineering experience, hands-on leadership, and the ability to align engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and partners across Europe.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on engineering and manufacturing leadership.
• Experience moving prototypes to repeatable production.
• Multidisciplinary knowledge across mechanical, electrical, avionics.
• Experience with BOMs, configuration control and ECN processes.
• Excellent cross-functional communication across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UAV integration from component receipt to handover.
• Lead European integration across London, Poland, NL and partners.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics, propulsion, payload and mission systems integration.
• Interface between engineering, supply chain, quality, programme management and partners.
• Establish daily/weekly routines for build status, shortages and testing.
• Own integration and build-readiness planning, tooling, facilities and tests.
• Drive standardisation of build processes, tooling and documentation.
• Identify risks early and drive actions to resolution.
