Job summary

Matchtech seeks a Senior UAV Design Engineer to own the design lifecycle of unmanned aerial vehicle systems. You will blend cutting-edge mechanical design with hardware integration, setting technical standards and representing engineering in architecture and supplier decisions in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role is highly autonomous, offering significant opportunity to build a team around you and mentor engineers while delivering high-performance airframes and payload structures

Qualifications

• Senior-level UAV design experience and hands-on hardware integration.
• Experience leading design lifecycle from concept to production.
• Ability to set technical direction and balance performance, manufacturability and cost.

Responsibilities

• Take design authority for UAV platforms across mechanical, electronic and integration workstreams.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, reviewing their work and supporting development.
• Own key design decisions, trade-offs, and project timelines.
