Job summary

City of Doncaster Council’s Children’s Services are seeking qualified social workers to join our Inspiring Futures Team as UASC Social Workers for separated children. You will work in a supportive environment focused on stability and positive outcomes for children and families.

We offer a competitive salary (£42,123-£46,579 for Grade 9 or £49,817-£54,143 for Grade 10 per annum), flexible and hybrid working options, generous annual leave and strong supervision.

Qualifications

  • A BA or MA in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience of working with children and families, preferably as a qualified social worker.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, their families, colleagues and partner agencies.
  • Analytical and written assessment skills, able to support families to make positive changes.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and continuing professional development.

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 37 hours per week

Flexible working arrangements: Fixed shift pattern, flexible working requests considered.
