Barnsley Council is recruiting a Senior Social Worker to join its Children’s Services in Barnsley. The post offers a fixed-term contract for 12 months with a 37 hour week, Monday to Friday, and a flexible working approach while ensuring continuity of case management.

This is a full-time role. We are committed to supporting work–life balance, and requests for flexible working, including job share, will be considered in line with the needs of the service. Given the requirement for continuity of support to service users, any flexible working arrangements would need to ensure consistency in case management.
