Westmorland and Furness Council in Workington is looking for a dedicated social care professional to assess needs, manage a caseload and promote independence for people in Cumbria.
This permanent, full-time role operates 37 hours per week with a salary of £38,220 to £39,152 per year, and a focus on partnership working with individuals, communities and agencies.

Work within a District or Locality team to assess social care needs and deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing, choice, and control for people in Cumbria. Manage a caseload, coordinate outcomes, assess and manage risk, and work within financial boundaries. Develop strong partnerships with individuals, communities, and agencies to maximise access to local assets, preventative support, and services using a strengths-based approach. Operate autonomously within a multi-disciplinary environment, handling complex cases while contributing to continuous service improvement and positive outcomes for the people of Cumbria.
