Job summary

BCFC Academy is seeking an Academy Coach for our u15/16s to plan and deliver coaching sessions in line with the club philosophy and curriculum. You will lead on match-day planning, observation and feedback, and ensure player welfare with safeguarding as a priority.

The role requires UEFA B Licence and FA Youth Award, plus experience in an academy environment and a team-oriented approach. You should be able to work independently and communicate clearly with players, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver coaching sessions following club philosophy and curriculum
• Oversee age group on match day incl. planning, observation and feedback
• Record player data on The Kitman Labs Intelligence Platform
• Safeguarding responsibilities for players
• Contribute to talent identification processes
• Handle administrative tasks: fixtures, records, and input
• Conduct 6 weekly player reviews
• Carry out player/parent reviews per EPPP guidelines
• Maintain multi-disciplinary communication for holistic development

Education

UEFA B Licence

FA Youth Award

Experience of developing players in an Academy environment

Understanding of the requirements to play Professional football, at all levels

Be able to work as part of a team, but also lead on own initiative

Have empathy, be supportive and encouraging to developing others

Have an open / growth mind-set and be an honest, clear communicator

UEFA A Licence

FA Advanced Youth Award
