Job summary

Derby County Football Club seeks a Part-Time Youth Development Phase Coach to support the U15-U16 age groups at Moor Farm Training Centre. You will work within the DCFC Academy to deliver coaching sessions and contribute to the Day Release programme, aligning with the Academy Performance Plan and Values.

The role emphasizes holistic player development, safeguarding, CPD, and collaboration with Lead Coaches, parents, and staff. A UEFA B Licence and FA Youth Award are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential coaching qualifications for youth development in football.
• Experience within a football academy environment is desirable.
• Familiarity with safeguarding and player welfare policies.

Responsibilities

• Coach across the U15/U16 squads and support individual development.
• Ensure holistic development and adhere to academy standards.
• Maintain Kitman Labs and Hudl records within deadlines.
• Conduct player and parent reviews every ten weeks.
• Support Lead Coaches with age-group games and logistics.
• Develop professionally via the Development Action Plan.
• Engage in ongoing CPD and keep up-to-date with coaching practices.
• Support the retain/release process per club policy.
• Promote health, safety and safeguarding for players and staff.
• Uphold equality, diversity and inclusion across activities.
• Represent DCFC professionally and collaboratively.
• Take on additional duties as required.
