Job summary

Formula One Autocentres is seeking a tyre fitter to join our busy UK auto-centre team. You will fit tyres, batteries and exhausts, ensuring safety and efficiency while delivering high standards of service to customers.

You will be part of a small team yet able to work independently, with a pride in performing tasks to a very high standard. The role requires flexibility in hours as per the centre’s needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy retail automotive environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work well both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Fit tyres, batteries, exhausts and other fast-fit maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to increasing sales of company products and services per procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the centre and equipment at all times.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures; follow reasonable management instructions.

Job description

• To fit Tyres & carry out fast fit maintenance to customer vehicles
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To adhere to the Company's Policy & Procedures
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.

The main objective of the role will be to fit tyres, batteries, exhausts etc in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview.

Salary: Dependent on experience
