Protyre Autocare in the UK is seeking a Tyre Technician to join our growing team. You will perform tyre fitting and repairs on cars and light vehicles, upholding high workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key requirements include a full UK driving licence, automotive qualification, and a proven ability to work safely and efficiently. You’ll be part of a busy workshop, with opportunities for funded IMI courses and career development within The Micheldever Group network.

Formación

• Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship
• Excellent customer service
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence
• Able to produce high quality work within specified time frames, using your own initiative
• Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• The ability to multitask and make appropriate decisions to benefit company performance
• Friendly and approachable manner

Responsabilidades

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary
• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
• Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.
• Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out
• To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures

Job Summary

Our Tyre Fitters / Technicians are responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and tyre repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles, maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.

• Essential: Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

• Qualification in an Automotive field

About the role:
