Job summary

Formula One Autocentres in Leatherhead is seeking a diligent automotive technician to service light vehicles safely and efficiently. You will work both in a small team and independently, taking pride in high standards.

The role focuses on fitting products, carrying out repairs and servicing, and boosting sales while maintaining a clean workshop. Benefits and training are provided to develop your career.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy automotive retail environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Fit products to customer vehicles and perform ancillary services.
• Carry out repairs and servicing to a trained level on light vehicles after training.
• Increase sales of products and services offered by the Company.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment.
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
• Wear and present the supplied uniform at all times.
• Be available for work at the times specified by the Company.

Job description

The main objective of the role will be to service light vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview Salary: Dependent on experience

• To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
• To carry out repairs & servicing to a trained level on light vehicles after successful completion of training
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• To adhere to the Company's Policy & Procedures
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company
  The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.
