Job summary

Protyre Autocare is recruiting a Tyre Technician to join our growing team. You will perform tyre fitting and repairs across a range of cars and light vehicles, delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Essential requirements include a full UK driving licence and an automotive field qualification. The role offers training opportunities, funded IMI courses, staff discounts, and other benefits, with a competitive bonus structure.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full valid UK driving licence and be able to drive in the UK.
• Qualified in automotive field or apprenticeship with relevant experience.
• Able to produce high quality work within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Provide high quality workmanship and seek guidance when needed.
• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Notify customers or management of additional faults found.
• Keep vehicle and job area clean and document work per company policies.

OurTyre Fitters / Techniciansare responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and tyre repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles, maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.

Essential:

Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply - points or offences may affect your application)

About the role:

Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.

Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary

Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.

Ensure that the customer's vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out

To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures

About you:

Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship

Full Clean UK Driving Licence

Able to produce high quality work within specified time frames, using your own initiative

Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

The ability to multitask and make appropriate decisions to benefit company performance

Friendly and approachable manner
