Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting for an Assistant Centre Manager in Banbury. The role offers a £32,000–£34,000 salary and a £3,600 annual bonus, with 42.5 hours per week, Mon-Sat, and a birthday day off.

You will assist the Centre Manager, support the workshop, and drive KPIs while maintaining stock and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in automotive or retail, strong vehicle knowledge, and leadership skills, plus a UK driving licence and

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience within automotive sector or retail.
• Technical knowledge of vehicles and fast-fit equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership to manage a team.
• Strong customer service focus to drive team performance.
• Experience in managing centre sales, costs and compliance.
• UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Ability to support workshop activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Centre Manager in daily depot operations.
• Support workshop team with technical vehicle work as required.
• Help achieve centre performance targets and KPIs.
• Oversee stock levels and maintain stock values.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and enforce company policies.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the workshop team.
• Support in maximizing sales and controlling costs.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations.
